participation has never been easier!
Similar to the past two years, the 2024 Rankin Cancer Run will be a virtual event.
This provides participants with a tremendous amount of flexibility to choose the time, the place and type of event they want to create. With that in mind, 2024 has been designed to make participation easier than ever.
Simply choose your Event, choose your Place, choose your Time and Register.
1. choose your Event
Walk, Run or do it your way. While many registrants will continue to participate by completing a traditional walk or run, you now have the flexibility to create your own event . You can also decide to do it individually or as part of a team.
In previous years, registrants have rowed down the Henley, paddled on the Welland course, tossed horseshoes at a campsite, competed in a pickle ball tournament, and participated in a snowmobiling event. Some have also organized fundraising events such as bake sales and barbeques.
2. choose your Place
Your event does not have to be conducted locally. It can be completed anywhere you are.
In previous years. we have had people participating from all kinds of interesting locations including campgrounds, beaches and even from as far away as Disney, Rome, and the Caribbean.
3. choose your Time
Your event can be conducted any time during the 2024 calendar year.
This provides you with the opportunity to line it up with different seasonal activities or, if you are planning to register a team, you can pick best time to get your group together.
